Brighton Riders

Tuesday I went with friend up to Brighton Ski Resort strictly to take pictures. It was so much fun- his name is Dave and he is a Photo Editor for a news paper here in UT.

Monday Night= Date Night

Every Monday night Tara and I have a date night. Our Schedules just so busy and are often opposite that this semester made it a goal to have a date night every Monday! The best part is we ACTUALLY followed through with it! This was the last Monday of the semester, thus the last date night of 2007. So we got dressed up in our Sunday best and went to Happy Sumo and enjoyed some very tasty sushi.

One of our very favorite things about Happy Sumo is that it gives us the rare opportunity to use chop sticks.

Over time I really have become quite good at them- people often ask me if I am Chinese and I assume its because of my natural talent with chop sticks.

The atmosphere is also really fun at Happy Sumo. When you get the chance to sit in a booth, you also get to have a more intimate setting with the curtains (as displayed in the picture). Plus- I just love this picture.

Senior Friendship Center

This Fall semester I took a Program Management class. We planned events through out the semester and it was a great experience. The last event me and my partner Mark planned was at a retirement home called the Senior Friendship Center. The above picture is my favorite from the event.

Its Snowing in Provo

Its snowing in Provo! Its cold here, but I like it. I am happy to have a reason to wear scarves, coats and especially mittens. For a while we were at this limbo stage in our weather system. I would wake up and think it was going to be cold. So i would bundle up and by noon I had a a pile of clothing to carry around with me on campus. In conclusion I am happy that its snowing- it makes the cold worth it.

Newport Beach Wedding

Dec 1 2007 was one of the most inspiring days of my life! I had so so so much fun shooting this Wedding with Megan (My partner in crime). We worked so well together and I don't know if I will ever shoot a wedding with out her as long as my lungs still heave.

The couple is Lindsey and Jake Stevens. They were married in the Newport Beach Temple on Dec 4th 2007. The reception was held in Laguna Beach in the quaintest chapel. It was so charming and the couple was so fun and easy going that it would have been hard for anyone not to have a blast. We felt so grateful to have the opportunity to be the Photographers at such a beautiful wedding.
